In the new version of PILOT, we have enhanced the security of our clients’ data. We’ve expanded functionality and improved system stability by adding new features and fixing bugs

So, what’s new in the version:

Enhanced security

We have implemented additional protection for user data. Improved password security: they are now stored in encrypted form using a modern and reliable encryption algorithm.

Improved Telegram bot

We have worked on stability of our Telegram bot and added the option to choose the language of communication with the bot. No more unexpected failures and re-authentication from now. Made car search faster — just list the cars you’re interested in, and the bot will immediately provide the information.

Additional account protection

Provided the option for partners to make two-factor authentication mandatory for all users when logging into the system. Now, in addition to login and password, the user must enter a one-time code from an authenticator app.

New API is created

With one request, you can get the most important information about your vehicle. The new API provides a report that includes: distance traveled, cases of speeding, sudden braking, and seat belt violations.

New relay protocol

Added the Tripia relay protocol for transmitting vehicle data.

Hikvision video devices are integrated

Added support for several Hikvision mobile devices: a portable video recorder for recording videos, a car recorder for recording trips, and a camera that automatically recognizes license plates. These devices are now available for connection and management in our system.

Language selection in “Report scheduler”

Added the ability to choose a language for report generation in the scheduler settings. You can select the desired language from the dropdown list, which will be applied to reports regardless of the system interface language.

Sound alerts for notifications are available again in the system. The feature can be disabled if necessary.

A “Manual” tab is added in the interface. Account users can view documentation attached by administrators.

Car manufacturing year is optional from now

The “Manufacturing Year” field has become optional. You can create new cars without specifying the manufacturing year if this information is unknown or not important. Save the car without specifying the year and edit these details later.

Information about the number and duration of parking has been added to the vehicle movement history. Now you can see how long each vehicle was parked.

Improved the display of the “No Connection” status. The system shows the exact time of connection absence in hours, days, months.

“Tachograph” module in new interface

Added “Tachograph” to the updated interface. Now it’s easy to manage module settings and view reports.

Tracking changes in driver history

Added a feature in “Audit History” that allows administrators to track changes in driver history, even if records were deleted.

New in working with maps

You can choose which map will open first by default. Also, the option to hide unused maps is available.

Added an infrared map to the “Passenger traffic statistics” report, which visually displays separate statistics for passengers boarding and alighting.

Report date in e-mail

The e-mail subject includes the report formation date now.

Saving “Service” notifications

If you receive a notification from the “Service” module but miss it, information about it will automatically be saved in “Events”.

New fields and data synchronization feature in FOTA

In the FOTA interface for machines with Teltonika devices, new fields have been added — ICCID, group identifier, and description, which help identify SIM cards, accounts, and vehicles. The synchronization button allows updating data between FOTA and PILOT and automatically populating the vehicle card.

Last parking is added to report

Fixed an issue in the “Trips and Parking” report where parking after trips was not displayed. Now each trip in the report ends with a parking entry.

Clicking the “Add New Service” button will open a popup window with a form to create a service.

Updated interfaces for “History” and “Reports” sections

Now there is the possibility to display additional fields. You can customize the display of information in these sections according to your tasks.

Filtering by additional fields is added

Added the ability to filter by additional fields that you create for vehicles and drivers. When adding a new field in the field editor, the search and filtering function for this parameter becomes automatically available.

New driver fields in the report

Added new fields with driver information in the “Report designer.” Now the report can include the driver’s name, group, driver’s license expiration date, phone number, tags, and description.

We would also like to remind you that in the previous release, we implemented the mass loading of Wialon objects.

To upload objects from Wialon into the Pilot system in bulk, you can use the import function. This allows you to add a large number of objects simultaneously. This can be particularly useful for companies managing a large fleet of vehicles.
