The system detects driver drowsiness, distraction, seatbelt usage, smoking, and holding a phone while driving,and provides real-time alerts to the driver while offering tailored fleet manager alerts and insights via FSCloud, a new cloud-based dashboard, or the existing fleet management server.In addition to the core DMS features, Our device also offers driver recognition for enrolled drivers. Robust DMS
We are the leading provider of driver monitoring solutions to vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. Cipia’s underlying driver monitoring technology is designed to meet the safety standards and regulations which automotive OEMs are facing, including Euro NCAP and the European General Safety Regulations. Accuracy (low or no false positives) and reliability are key OEM requirements in this regard.
Designed for fleets
Fleet managers can customize alerts by filtering and creating rules that define which alerts are sent to the server, avoiding overwhelming dispatchers with unnecessary notifications. Cipia-FS10 Plus features a tamper-proof design that helps ensure the continued accuracy and reliability of its driver monitoring functions. The device can detect and report any loss of calibration in the in-cabin camera, as well as visual interference on the lens or any attempts at tampering.
Hybrid communication mode: Reduce data costs by up to 99%
Our Devices provides a Hybrid Communication mode that can dramatically reduce data costs for fleets. With this feature, alerts and photo snapshots can be sent in real time using LTE or RS-232, while video uploading, and firmware OTA updates will only be performed when the vehicle is in a pre-configured, secure Wi-Fi network (for example at the company’s parking lot) This way, fleets can save on data usage without compromising critical real-time functions.
Incident reconstruction
In case of an incident or accident, the devices can provide footage on demand from both in-cabin and road-facing cameras, allowing fleet managers to see a complete picture of the event, thus providing an accurate understanding of what happened.
Privacy
All video processing for the detection of DMS events is done locally on the device in real time. Fleet and telematics service providers have the option to receive text-based alerts only, or include pictures and video snippets in the event of a triggered event, giving them greater flexibility and control over the level of detail they receive, and allowing adherence to any privacy constraints.
