Managing corporate taxis
GEOS Llc., Pilot Telematic Ltd.’s partner in Kazakhstan, implemented a corporate taxi system in the company Kazakhtelecom. The corporate taxi system is based on the PTM system (tasks.pilot-gps.ru). The system enables company employees to make requests for the temporary use of company vehicles, and enables these requests to be processed.
The general logic of the system is presented in the diagram below:
Everyone participating in the process is able to follow the different stages and statuses of the orders in real time. In order to optimise vehicle usage, the system automatically calculates the time required to complete each order, taking into consideration road conditions. This allows for maximum effectiveness with minimal usage of vehicles.
